Mike Moriarty

Michael Thomas Moriarty (born March 8, 1974 in Camden, New Jersey) is a retired Major League Baseball shortstop and second baseman. He played during one season at the major league level for the Baltimore Orioles. He was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in 7th round of the amateur draft. Moriarty played his first professional season with their Class A Fort Wayne Wizards in , and split his last season, , between the Triple-A clubs of Baltimore (Ottawa Lynx), Chicago Cubs (Iowa Cubs), and Boston Red Sox (Pawtucket Red Sox).
Moriarty attended Seton Hall University, where he played college baseball for the Pirates under head coach Mike Sheppard.
